Feeding flakes and pellets?

I've got guppies and bottom swimming fish.
The guppies are greedy little monkeys!!
And usually leave nothing spare. I bet if they could eat the tank they would!
And I'm a bit worried that the bottom swimming fish are not getting any food. I'm currently using flakes.
Considering pellets but if I use pellets will the guppies eat those too? Or should I feed the guppies flakes and the bottom swimmers pellets separately?

yes they will eat pellets. Just use large ones, or wafers, and the others will get a shot at the food also. Guppies can eat a 1mm pellet pretty easily but they won't eat them all immediately, so shoot for something that size or larger.

Try to avoid feeding to much. Feed the guppies on one side of the tank and drop a few pellets on the other for the bottom fish.
