Feeding peas

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's wondering, how do you shell a pea, the way I've done it is just annoying and tedious. Just wondering how everyone else does it.

After blanching them, I cut a small slit in them and then use my fingers to squeeze the pea out of shell through the slit.

I just thaw peas in boiling water- I pinch them out of their shells. *thats* tedious enough for me!
