feeding question

The other day i bought some canned sardines for my red bellied piranas. I put two in and they were gone within a minute, they really seem to like it and this is the first time in a long time that they have actually eaten infront of me. Anyways i was just wondering if this is ok to feed to them, the only ingredients are spring water and salt.
