Feeding question

I have 8 African cichlids. Some 1 inch some 2 inch. How many pellets should you feel them every day. I have been told 20 pellets 2 times a day. Does that seem ok for the amount of fish?

Id feed smaller amounts just feed more frequent.

When I fed them the 20 pellets 2 times a day, all the pellets were eatin in like 30 seconds. But ok I will try that

I have 12 and I only feed 17 - 20 pellets per day once a day. I feel like if I'm not going to skip a day I can feed less for everyday...I have been doing it this way for almost a year and none of my cichlids look sick or hungry

My rule is to put in as much as can be consumed in 30 seconds. Measure the amount of food in like teaspoons and watch to see how much is eaten.

I am using the very small 2 color tetra food for cichlids. I have been feeding them 15 pellets 2 times a day and they eat this food within like 15 seconds. Do you think they need more?
