I get mixed answers on how much to feed my fish. I've got 3 Yo Yo loaches, 3 corys, 2 clown loaches, 6 black ruby barbs and 6 tiger barbs in my 29 gallon tank. I feed once or twice a day with both sinking pellets and flakes. Is this too much? I don't know if certain fish need more regular meals than others. My filtration system should adequately handle the waste (1 Whisper 30, 1 Aguaclear 200, 1 Penn Plax undergravel filter).

You know that the clown loaches will get way too big for a 29.
I feed all my bottom feeders once a day sinking pellets. I feed my flake fish 2 times a day or 1 time when things are hetic.

clown loach size
I'm aware of the clown loach size problem. They are really small now (just under 2 inches) and I plan on getting a much bigger aquarium later for when they get bigger. Actually it is a good excuse for me to get another aquarium later. I'm thinking in the 70 + gallon range. I'd like to cut my teeth on this 29 first for a while.

don't feed them more than they can eat is 5 mins is what i always hear
