I just bought a Synodontis flavitaeniatus or Pyjama Catfish and I don't know what to feed him. He is in a African Cichlid Tank with 9 Mbana's (75 gal). I rarly even see him. I don't know if there is enough flakes and pellets that make it to the substraight to feed him. I just put in a cucumbers but I don't know if he is going to eat it. I am going to leave it in over night. The Cichlids are hammering the cucumber but there will be enough left for the catfish. I just wonder if he will eat it. Any ideas?

I also have a syno in my tank. All I ever see of him is his tail wiggling thru a crack between his two favorite rocks. I just keep a chunk of celery rubberbanded to a rock in my tank, and between him and the pleco, it's gone every morning. I used to feed a shrimp pellet or two, but I don't even bother now because my africans are big enough to catch them before they hit the ground.
