I'm due to go away shortly for a week and have just realised what am I going to do with my fish! I have a 17g closed lid tank with assorted freshwater fish, guppies, platy, dwarf gourami, snails, shrimp etc.

Question is, can anyone recommend any automatic feeders, slow release food that would get my fish through the week? I normally feed a combination of flake and algae wafers.

I agree with the previous posts. They will be fine. Using an automatic feeder could effect your water quality as well, which wouldn't be great

They should be called a Automatic "Over" Feeder

Thats what they have always done to me in the past time after time after time!

I just ask the trusted neighbour or a family member to pop in a put the flake in which I have already bagged in one sized portions for them :)
