Hi all!

In my 15 gal I have a female betta that dropped her eggs this morning and since I was running late to work I couldn't get them out until I got home. But when I got home they were gone. She is the only thing in her divided section so I am guessing that she ate them. Is that ok? Or normal?

Thanks :)

Was the male in the tank with her thermal Betta makes a bubble nest on the surface of the water and places the eggs there and will protect them until they become free swimming

No males in this one, he was moved to my 5gal about a month ago. She did drop them when he was in the same tank at one point.

So is it ok if they eat them? Just putting the nutrients back in?
Thanks everyone!
