Filter feeding shrimp question

For Singapore shrimp. Is an airstone enough source of water flow for these guys to feed? That's with a HOB filter in use. Or is a power head necessary? What about with use of a canister filter? Is there actual food for these kind of shrimp? Or do they just eat microorganisms that happen to be in tank water?

You dont NED anythinn except a HOB filter. They feed on stuff we cant even see. Not much current is needed, they will find there area with the best flow.
