I have a 25 gal fresh water tank with the appropriate sized filter. When I drop feed in as it drifts down into the water some of the food gets sucked up into the filter. Is my circulation too strong or is there some manner in which I can limit this action.
Thanks

Some people turn off their filters during feeding. I usually feed away from the filter intake and pellets will resist being sucked in. If I feed frozen foods I turn the filter off for a bit.

I would have to reprime each time...
I can adjust the flow a lot though. I'll try that.
Also thinking about some material over the inlet tube to keep it from getting pulled up the tube...fish could likely eat it.

What filter do you have? My filter doesn't need to be re-primed, enough water should stay in the filter box.

Yeah, I would try adjusting the flow first.

Why reprimed??

As mentioned here, a small sponge over the intake or different kind of food.
