okay so i was wondering if i remove the carbon off my new AC50 and replace it with another Biological bag, so that makes two bio bags and 1 sponge, will this actually work???

Carbon is useful for removing meds from the water, but otherwise unnecessary IMO.
I use 2 or 3 sponges in my AC hob's, simply depending on how many will fit. The 70's take 3, while the 110's only hold 2. Incidentally, if you cut the sponges in half lengthwise it's easier to get more of the debris out of them when you clean them out.

I run my AC50 and AC70 with a sponge and two biobags with no issues. I wouldn't buy extra biobags, but I had some extras lying around, so I figured I'd use them.
