filtration for tap water

can a filtration that you put on your faucet, filter out chlorine & chloramines?
if anyone knows. please help.
Im tired of the removers i must use...

Not well. A low water volumes...maybe.

I use a dechlor and tap for my FW. 1 bottle lasts me over a year easily. I don't do water changes often, unless needed.

at your lfs you can get the
tap water filter (or purifier)
i have it , it is a great peice of equipment
the filter is also a di filter
first the water goes through a super charged activated carbon section,
then to the di section,
depending on your tds where u live you should get between 50- 150 gallons of pure
di water

since the filter strips all the minerals out of the water you need to replace the trace elements back into it
the filter comes with a bottle of electro right (trace elements) and ph up.
no need to declorinize, the filter does it with the carbon section for u

replacement filter cartridges cost about 20 bucks at your lfs
well worth the money i think

I dont know if it really helps. I have a Pur brand facuet filter and use it for the fish tanks as well as my drinking water. Cant hurt.
