Hey all! I just transferred my two fish, one oranda and one black moor, from a 29 gallon to a 40b. They are currently sitting on the bottom, moving around very little. No clamped fins, just hovering towards to bottom.

Could that be due to stress?

Thanks!

It's a new tank. they just need to settle in to the new environment. Try adding some overhangs or caves for them to hide in and get comfortable.

Also try dimming the lights.

Thanks guys!

Last night after moving and transferring everything.. I left the lights off their tank completely. They also have a large rock cave. They seem to be swimming around more this morning. I'll continue to keep an eye of them and check my water parameters again, too.
