So I started this planted bowl a couple of months ago and recently introduced this fish to it. I'll preface by saying, I know you shouldn't keep wild fish. However, on a recent trip to a nearby creek, I found a little pool about the size of a baseball and 1/4" deep littered with all these fry. Most were dead, the few flopping around I gathered up in a water bottle and took home. Out of the 3 I caught, one has survived. I plan on eventually putting it in an above-ground pond, due to his size. For the time being, he is in my planted bowl. Anyway, can anyone tell what he is?

Not sure, almost looks like some sort of wild platy to me. But it's hard to tell

I cant really tell but look up mosquito fish, they can be found in tiny puddles like that and breed like guppys

I would need a closer picture but it looks like a Molly or an American flag fish
