I just got another 55 gallon tank off of CL with fish included. I'm going to regime them, but does anyone know what this guy is? He swims at the very top, if that helps...

I don't know what he is, but he's super cute!

Kind of has a killifish body.

Looks like killfish, but there's millions of different species so it might be hard to ID.

That is a type of killie., a topminnow to be exact. Check the fish profile section, I did a write up on a fish like that or one of its close relatives. I can't do links on mobile.

Yea, I have no idea.

He is in the tank with
4 giant danios
1 large angelfish
1 tetra
2 dwarf gouramis
1 kissing Gourami
2 plecos
1 bala shark

Weird combination imo...lol. But I'm a cichlid freak so I don't know a lot about most of these fellas.

I think yours may be broadstripe topminnow, but they are closely related and similar looking.
