Fish ID Help

A friend of mine says this fish is a freshwater but has no other info on it. Does anyone else have a clue on what kind of fish this may be. Thank you for looking.

At first glance I thought a killifish too (it looks a lot like a mummichog). However, the mouth looks wrong and I suspect instead that it's a mudminnow (Umbra). Do an image search and see if any species match. In particular, check out the mouth construction.
