Can someone help me ID this fish I just got? It was a little redder and blueish when he was with members of the same species!

It may be a darter of some kind?

So from what I've googled, it's either a fat sleeper (dormitator maculatus)
Or a purple spotted gudgeon (mogurnda species).

From what I remember at the hatchery I got him from it looked like a peacock gudgeon (which is why I got him- maybe it's a female), anyways they were way more colorful when surrounded by tank mates of the same species which is why I think I have a female and the species expresses sexual dimorphism.

It was a shady hatchery, later found out there was a huge financial issue from somebody at work. But I'm gonna I going to go back and ask about the fish, mayb or give it back to the guy because both those species seem a little aggressive for what I'm trying to do.
