Fish identification

Hi guys..
Got offered a fish from a friend, which seems very peaceful and active.
But I cannot identify which fish category it is.

At first it was very active and keep swimming to and fro, sometimes seen to be eating algae on the plants or at the bottom of the aquarium.. but since some days it look so passive, like just floating around at the top part of the aquarium.

Can someone help identify it from the attached pic?
It's shiny silver in color, with 2 fins on top.. small tail. Danio size.

It's a Mako

Mako? Never heard of that name, except the Mako shark.
Tried google it also, cannot see anything on this.

Is it a good tankmate for other tropical fishes?

I'm sorry. I was just making a joke about the mako shark. It was 3am my time and I thought it was funny in my sleepy head. I really have no idea. Sorry again
