Fishless cycle help....

Doing fishless cycle been doing 4 ppm ammonia and haven't seen nitrite until now I'm seein very little like maybe a 1 so should I keep adding ammonia until my nitrite gets really high??

You need to keep on adding ammonia u till you have ammonia and nitrite 0 and nitrate 5+

Once you add some livestock you can stop adding ammonia.

Plants and aquarium gravel are good choices for starting a cycle.
