Flourite Substrate

Ordered 2 bags of black flourite for my 20 long. I have flora max in my 20 tall. Both are cycling with dr tims ammonia. Comparison... None yet. Have to say the flourite wasn't nearly as bad as I have read as far as washing it goes. Probably took me 35-40 minutes for both bags. DIdn't cloud my tank up at all either. Very pleased so far.

I am going to buy a "LOT" off aquabid for both of my 20's various plants to try out. Make sure my lighting is okay. I will NOT be introducing co2 to either tank. What is left over from the "LOT" will be placed in pots in my 55 gallon tank.
