Fluval Edge Substrate

I recently bought a fluval edge 12 gallon for a small planted aquarium, but due to its abnormal collum-like design, im not sure how much to substrate (lbs) to purchase. If anyone has experience with a fluval edge 12, i would highly appreciate any suggestions. Keep in mind i might want a little extra for aquascaping. Thanks!

What kind of substrate were you thinking? Sand, eco complete or gravel? I have this tank. I used eco complete and made it pretty deep.

Yeah somthing like that, actually i was gonna use fluval stratum for plant growth
