Found a discarded tank!

That cut looks to me like someone had this empty tank in the garage or shed, maybe, and they were using it to brace some material they were cutting, and the blade went too far and bit into the rim of the tank. If it was on the curb then you know it was sitting somewhere for a while until they got sick of looking at it.

Great find, Andy - I never see discarded tanks like that! Your angels are going to be so happy. :D
 
Check around to some sandblasting places. Some places charge 10.00 or so and they do the blasting. No mess and it's ready to go really fast. HTH.
BTW great find! All I ever find is trash on the curb too, LOL.
