Found some stow away snails

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

on my new plants, and I threw them in anyway. :lol:

I'm curious what happens. I have two clown loaches and a angelicus botia loach.

My rosey and gold barbs will probably get them too.

This should be fun. I think they are the ramshorn ones too. :lol:

Can you tell I'm bored with my tank right now.
 
I have watched the clowns at work ( the fish that is) attack these little snails before. They seem to smell them and when they find a snail they flip them over and suck them right out of the shell. It's pretty cool but it don't take long. I swear that the loaches smile afterward.
 
I had a stowaway snail from some plants , he was in the tank for a couple of weeks -last I seen him was a couple of days ago my BGK was picking at him -never seen him since.
 
When your loaches figure out that the snails are edible (and this may take some time), those snails are toast!
