Free the betta's

Went in one of my LFS yesterday only to see about 20 Guinness pint pots lined up behind the counter each with a single betta in them.

I wanted to buy them all immediately. Some of them were really nice looking but all looked so miserable. How can they do this? Unless they are certain they will sell quickly like less than a week. I can't imagine how many will jump out before they are sold.

I also find that sort of marketing appalling. They are treating the fish like a packet of sweets by the supermarket check out. You would think there were laws against this!
