From fish-in cycle to fish-less cycle.

Hello. I have a 20 gallon tank and I am doing a fish-in cycle with 2 zebra danios. (Don't start asking me why I am doing a cycle with fish. I understand that I could've done a fish less cycle.) Anyways, let's say my fish died during the cycle. Could I just switch to the fish less cycle using bottled ammonia? Or would I have to keep using fish? Please JUST answer my question.

So the cycle bacteria won't notice the difference between fish ammonia and bottled ammonia once I switch? It won't affect the cycle anyway?
