Fumigating

[Vegetarian fish nut]

Hi,

My basement is infested with spiders, and we are having orkin come. Does anyone know what I should do to protect my fish and turtle from fumes? Moving them is not possible.
Please respond ASAP as they are coming Ina few hours.

Hope it's not too late, but cover up the tank as well as you can with blankets and turn off any air pumps.

And put carbon in the filters because it may help in absorbing the toxic chemicals.

How long will the fumigation last? If it's for an hour or so tape down trash bags over the tanks and turn off all filters and most importantly bubblers.

Ive bombed before. My fish were all fine just covered them up with nlankets and turned air pumps off.. varbon would be nice too for added insurance.

Thanks. I have an 80 gallon in a room next to the one getting sprayed. It has a fluval 405. Every time I turn it off I manage to flood the basement when I turn it back on. Do I need to turn off the filter? I will if necessary.
