Question future 120gl compatibility question

Im not sure if Ive asked this before, but we are getting a 120gl. We have a Bala shark right now that is going into the 120gl (obviously) and we want to get a couple more. We also were looking into some gouramis as well. Is there any particular one that would go better with the Balas? I like the dwarf gouramis myself. Or if none of them, what else goes well with the bala sharks?
We are only getting the 120gl tank this soon because we bought our Balas before we knew they had to be in that big of a tank.

As much research as ive done, ive never heard you needed one that big...minimum. Ive heard 120gl minimum. Well it might be something bigger who knows. We havent bought it.

My question was, what is compatible with Balas?
