I would like to get a new tank stand for my 75 gal. Something a bit nicer than the one I have. I am thinking either black (not shinny) or med. oak. Is there a good place to get one that is reliable and the least expensive??

Thanks,

Stacie

I have the All-Glass pine stands, black, one that my husband got for me and he had to order it through my LFS, the other I got second-hand, mainly because it matched the one I already had. I would check out the classifieds or your local "Bargain Trader" type paper first. I prefer solid wood, furniture-type stands. If you get a good one it will probably not be terribly cheap, unfortunately, unless you find one second-hand.

Stands from the LFS are usually expensive! I was looking at stands for my new (used) 125 gallon, and opted to build one instead. I would keep an eye on the classifieds... if you're going to get a deal, that's where it'll be.

Good luck!
