Okay. 29 gallon.

Give me ideas to make this tank pretty! should I go with a black backround? I will attach a pic of my res tank. I love it ! Simple and elegant. Well, to me :)

What should I take out? What should I leave and where should everything go? Help a fishluvr out!

Thanks !!

29 gallon~ 5 giant danio, pleco, chinese algae eater, two feeder gold fish because adorable
35 gallon~ red ear slider, two feeder goldfish left..

How experienced are you, just so we can get an idea of which fish are in your comfort zone. I might do a biotope tank...

Goldfish cannot be kept with the other fish in the 29 gallon. Goldfish are cold water fish, they have an extremely high bio load and should be in a tank of at least 50 gallons.

If you really want the goldfish, then take out all the other fish. Especially the pleco. They grow over a foot long and need a 55 gallon tank. If you like the other fish, take out the goldfish and the pleco still. Then add maybe 1 more algae eater and a pair of Rams.

Yikes.. I wasn't very specific.

I already took the gold fish out. They're in my res tank...they're his midnight snacks.. out of ten he has 1 left haha.

I'm only keeping these fish for one year. Military life, ya know...
I will be rehoming all my fish and hopefully my res to the pet shop. Hopefully.

I was talking about my decor. Lol. Here is how I have it now.
