hello! I have a 3.5 gallon tank for a singular betta. Yesterday after performing a water change I noticed a glitter like substance in the water a few hours later, and in all honesty, I have no idea where it came from. I did water changes on 3 other tanks that don't have this issue. I have rock-like gravel as substrate (not the cheap colored stuff), and silk plants (and only one plastic but I preformed the pantyhose test), that contains no glitter. Could it be the tank? I have a Top Fin bettaflo Soothe. Thanks!

Not sure what it is but you might be able to use a net to scoop it out.

Try to check the water surface but upside down, with the light going trhough it, and hiting your eyes. Check for particles, colorations..
