Going on Vacation - Feeding Fish

We currently feed our fish every other morning and it has been working great. We are leaving for a 2 day vacation and will be back on the other day afternoon. Should we have someone stop by and feed our fish that morning or will they be ok until the afternoon?

I have not had any problems with fish left up to 4-5 days without feeding. If it is 2 days, they should be fine. on the last feeding before you leave just make it a tad bit heavier than normal.

+1 although I would feed them normally before you leave. I've fasted fish for up to a week without issue. Enjoy your vacation!

Agreed, feed them right before you leave (whether it's feeding day or not) and they'll be fine.

They'll be fine. Five days is a good limit, less if you have certain fish or fry.

Everyone else is right, they will be fine (I know from experience as well). I'm just chiming in because I know a lot of people like to be reassured a lot.

Thank you for all the advice. Just walked in and all the fish were there and happy to see me. I gave them a little to eat now and fill feed them again on Tuesday.
