gold honey gourami

I have a pair of honey gourami that have been living happily for around 2 months in my 37 gallon community. i cant help but noticing how pale my female is compared to the male. i know the males are often much brighetr, but the femal seems extreemly pale.there is also a faint black stripe across the center of her body. is that normal? they also dont really hang out alot near eachother, is this abnormal?

Females are usually a silver with hardly any color
