Gold Nugget Plec - L18

Just got one of these beauties 2 days ago. I know they tend to be a bit shy, but do they stay jittery or get a little braver, once used to a new environment?

I've never kept that exact pleco but I would think that like any other fish once it settles in for a few days it's Behaviour should change.

My experience with most plecos is that they will be out of view a decent portion of the time if your tank has lots of hiding places.

Wow nice one of my fav fish just don't have a big enough tank for one :-(

In my experience, some. I got a gold nugget back in February/March time frame. He comes out sometimes in the day, but mine is extremely shy and nocturnal. He is out during the night. There's times where I wouldn't see him for weeks at a time until I found his hiding spot. Only way I knew he was still alive during those times was that some algae buildup would disappear every couple nights.
