Golden apple snail

My snail came out of the tank in the night and crashed to the floor breaking off 90% of his shell. I threw him back in the tank thinking he's done. 2 days later and he's started growing a new shell and is floating around the top of the water again. Wow I am amazed at this recovery.

That’s wild! I’ve been wanting snails but that’s what I’m afraid of. Even if they don’t kill themselves getting out of the tank, I don’t really want them wandering around the house lol

Quite a few stories around where people have nursed severely damaged snails back to Health. Seems like the go-to fix is to use egg shell to fashion up a makeshift shell while the snail heals.

Yeah Gary didn't make it after all. Didn't have enough protection against the fish.
