Golden gouramis fighting!

One of my golden gouramis keeps bullying my other (I only have 2) it picks on it and chases it it has nipped it’s fins a few times. It hides behind the filter. What shall I do?! HELP!!

You'll need to separate them: gold gouramis are notorious buttheads, albeit lovely. (I love gouramis) Talk to your LFS and see if they'll take one as an orphan.

When I turn the tank lights off everything is fine they are practically swimming together. But when they come back on it begins to bully again. Also I have a spare 25 litre tank? Would that be big enough to hold him/her?

Gold gouramis get up to 6 inches/15 centimeters in size. A 25 liter tank is only 6 US gallons, way to small for even one.
