My GSC keeps going up to the top and hanging out then he just goes nuts tries to jump then somehow knocks himself out floats back to the bottom, regains consciousness then keeps on keeping on. Is this normal?

Tank detail

540l

7.6ph

Normal nitrite, nitrate and ammonia

Thank

By Gold Sucking Catfish, do you mean a Golden Chinese Algae Eater? I can't speak to whether this is normal behavior as everyone I know avoids them like the plague... They're quite aggressive slime coat eaters that latch onto their tankmates when they mature.

I've never seen mine do that.... So maybe you just got a very unique one. But to be safe id check the water.

May the force be with you.

Well I can't find him so....

They're good at hiding as well as escaping. Check under all the decor and inside the filter? If he's not there, start checking the floor and walls :(
