Goldfish turned totally white!

Hi all, hope this is the right place to post this. i've had a goldfish for around 3 years now, and i've noticed over the last couple of months he's slowly been turning white. Now he's completely white! is this normal? never had this before. fish does not seam unwell, he's eating and there are no signs of fungus etc on his scales.

I looked it up, and found out that goldfish lose color when they are deprived of light. Do u have any lighting? If so plz tell me what kind. If not try to add some from a lamp until you get an aquarium light. I would suggest u take him to a vet, or a pet store. Good Luck!

Thanks, his tank is next to the window and he's always been in that location since we've had him. gets a lot of natural light. algie is starting to become a problem with all the sun we are having

Maybe you should try another lighting source
