Good Find

I was out with my Uncle today, searching for mushrooms and letting the squirrel dogs run a little when we came across a nice turtle shell. I'm putting in hot water and it's been in there for about 20 min and I'm leaving it there for another about 40. Is this a good plan? I've already got another, larger one in my 75 (pic attached).

Its fine, but it will eventually dissolve unless you have hard water.
