I got my 10 gallon today!!! I was too excited to wait so we went to home depot to get 'stuff' and we set it up. It has pool filter sand as a substrate and all my live plants from my 55 gallon- 4 crypts, Java Fern on driftwood, 1 banana plant, and 2 dwarf saggitaria. Now im planning on going shopping for my filter later.. but for now i used one of my aquaclear 70's... i thought it would be too much current but it really isn't!! and i guess i don't have to worry about overstocking.. LOL.

So now in my 55 gallon all thats in there right now is:
3 clown loaches
1 rainbows shark
1 pleco
2 angelfish
5 apple snails
MTS in the substrate

and in the 10 gallon
5 serpae tetras
4 guppies (3F, 1M)
6 panda corycats
2 oto's
1 hillstream loach

- a lot of fish i know... but im not keeping the serpae tetra's... and it looks awesome.

ok well i guess the current is a bit stronger than i thought.. i saw an oto latched on to the cucumber i have on the side and he looked like he was having a hard time keeping on... LOL. .. but other than that it's not bad.

Both tanks look fantastic - great job aquascaping!
Those baby angels will grow up fast and the 55 won't look empty for long.

QTOFFER- i am going to do Malawian African Cichlids in my 55 gallon so i will be finding a new home for the angels. I have been told that i may be able to keep the loaches and rainbow shark with the cichlids with CAUTION and im thinking if i buy them as babies ( i see them pretty cheap at local stores for the babies) they might do better. So im saving up to buy some good rocks and caves to put into the 55 gallon and start stocking it.
