Gourami and loss of dorsal fin

Overnight, one of our red fire gouramis got stuck in a decoration. We freed it and removed that decoration, however in trying to free itself, it scraped off a good portion of its top fin. He seems to be swimming okay but is there anything we can do to help him heal?

Happened to one of mine.

I'm not up with all the medication but I did this with mine and it was fine.

Leave it in there and monitor it. If it starts getting picked on remove it and put it into a quarantine tank.
If you don't have another one I purchased a large separation tank and left it in the corner of the aquarium.
Leave him in there for a couple of days to get stronger and put it back into the main aquarium.

Lot's off clean water (with conditioner off course ) will help him heal. Just keep an eye out for infection.

55 gallon elephant nose tank.
30 gallon boraras ,bamboo shrimp, crs,rcs and different snails.
