My dwarf gourami got stuck in a bridge today. I feel awful because this is the second time this has happened. I removed the first bridge and thought, I’ll just buy him a bigger one?! Anyway, I was able to free him from the bridge and immediately removed the bridge. He has a small cut at the base of his head. It’s not oozing or anything alarming. He is eating ok and swimming/acting normal, but I’m worried his injury might get infected? I change their (we have 2 x dwarf gourami’s) water weekly and constantly check water quality, but wonder if there is anything else I should be doing? Thanks!
