Gournami Question

Was at my lfs tonight, got a couple plants and another nitrite snail
Found this little one with two others in the dwarf gournami tank. There were no stripes on it just a slivery color with a hit of gold/yellow.
Two of them looked kinda sickly, one was just bouncing around. They were rather small, about the size of 50 cent coin. The rest of the gournamis where about twice as big and way more colorful. Could these be females or just poor breeding?

Wow, never seen a female DG at any at mine lfs. Recently most of the fish at this store are in bad shape. I think since they don't QT new fish, dieases spread like wildfire. These guys have had sunken in stomaches, only one of them look halfway decent.
