I went to a big well know chainstore with my girlfriend and they have a lot of arts, crafts, decorations, etc. They had these really cool pieces of decorative wood called grapewood, like the one shown in the pic. I touched it and it has a wood smell, wood texture so I guess it's real wood. It says grapewood comes from some place in California or something. Has anybody ever used grapewood in their tanks succesfully? And if so, how did you cure it, treat it? Etc.

yes i use it a lot. most u find is already sand blasted and smoth. all i did is get the bath tub full of the hotest water i could and soaked it. over night. it sinks faster than other drift woods and lowers ph nicely. i put 3 pieces in all my pleco breeding tanks and the adults and babies love it. i have larget pieces in my angelfish tanks also

Awesome. You bet I'm gonna go back and get like 3 pieces now and redecorate XD.
