Green Tiger Barbs nipping at my Rainbows

I am stocking my final tank (55 Gallons). Today I bought 3 Lake Tebera Rainbows and 3 New Guinea Rainbows. I also purchased 5 Green Tiger Barbs but they nip at each other and the Rainbows. Will this be a problem? Anything I can do besides return the Tiger Barbs? Thanks in advance

You may limit nipping by adding more tiger barbs

You are correct that may help. However IMO I think that since they are nipping fast moving fish in a lightly stocked tank they will nip no matter what you do.

I guess it's a hit or miss with tiger barbs, mine are kept with rainbows a gourami and a butterfly fish. None of which were nipped
