Gunk in filter tubes?

After I change or clean the media in my filters
The tubes even with the slightest disturbance release built up gunk and I instantly have to clean a second time ?????? So much crap flakes of that it slow the water flow down considerably. EVERY TIME FML... Any suggestions ?

Clean them out with a pipe cleaner.

Yep, a dryer vent brush works well.

I had the same problem with my tubes i got a baby bottle cleaning brush and taped it to a a piece of garden cain and you can then push it straight through the tubes and just watch all the s**t come out. Make sure you do this outside as it will be really messy.
