Hello,

I have a 60gal planted tank, water parameters as follow;
pH 7
nitrites 0
nitrates 5
ammonia 0

I stock 4 angelfish, 1 golden ram, 3 cory pandas 1 mystery snail, and 2 otocinclus. While I was about to remove my fiber media in my sump to rinse I found these dark grey to black lil worm like creatures moving about (pictured below). I had never come across these in the past unti now and well I'm curious to know what they are, if anyone has come across them and what to do to prevent and eliminate if harmful. I removed the fiber media and replaced with new fiber (which I soaked in tank water before using).

Your help, input and info will be greatly appreciated it.

Thank you,
Nex

This was the best picture I could get of them.

I've seen people talk about this before. Do a search, I think they said perfectly harmless. There was something on this topic just a few weeks ago, with a pic.

Ah ok I will keep looking, thank you.
