Help 5g filter

My cheap filter that came with my 5 gallon tank is now pouring water out the bottom. Can anyone suggest a good filter for a 5g Betta tank. My Betta is not liking daily partial water changes and neither am I. We want to go back to every few days.

I really liike sponge filters, especially in betta tanks because they appreciate having low flow and they don't have to struggle against a current.

I've got a top fin 10 on my 5.5 gallon and I've never had an issue with it. Plus if it break you can take it back to PetSmart since its their brand and they'll exchange it.
