I havent set my tank up just yet cause I need a few more things, but my girlfriend has a tank and She told me about these little worms she's been seeing. When I saw them I had no idea what they were. They were almost everywhere floating and on the wall.

This is the best way to discribe them:
They are hair-like, and not wide.
they are no bigger then maybe a string of hair.
They arent visible till you like close and if I took a pic you still could see.

They dont tend to bother the fish, but we both agreed on trying to get rid of them.
Eany suggestion on what they are and how to get rid of them?

They are common nematodes. Absolutely harmless. Cut down on the feeding and do a few gravel vacs per week. They will soon disappear.

They occur as BrianNY mentioned from overfeeding. Water changes and cutting back on feeding will get rid of them.
