Help!! Cory eggbound or sick?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone out there had some opinions or advice for me! I have julii corydoras and for the past week or so one of them have been getting increasingly fat. I’m just looking to see if anyone knows if it is sick or just carrying eggs. There are so many contradicting articles. I also have no idea if it’s male or female. It’s in my toddlers tank so I would hate for anything to happen to it!

Is the fish eating?
What does its poop look like?

If the fish is eating well and doing coloured poop, then it is just getting fat.

If the fish has stopped eating and id a stringy white poop, it has an internal infection and will probably die.
