Help for my red tail shark

Hi i bought a red tail shark a month ago I put him in with my 2 kuhli loach they all in a 29 gallon tank but my red tail shark always hides is this normal or should I be worried?

As juveniles you will find your Red Tails to be fairly timid. For this reason you should provide them with plenty of spaces to hide (from fishkeepingworld.com)
